The treatment is quick, involves minimal downtime, and results typically appear within a few days, lasting several months depending on the individual.

Cosmetic volumizing treatment is designed to restore volume, enhance facial contours, and improve overall facial harmony. These treatments use a gel-like substance that is carefully injected beneath the skin to help smooth lines, define features, and create a more refreshed appearance.

Results are typically visible immediately, with minimal downtime. The effects are temporary and vary from person to person, generally lasting several months.

All cosmetic filler treatments at Esse Aesthetics are performed by a qualified healthcare professional following a detailed consultation to ensure safety and suitability.

In Australia, the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) regulates how prescription-only cosmetic treatments can be advertised. Under these guidelines, we are not permitted to display the names of prescription products or their prices on our website or marketing materials.

This is because these treatments require a personalised medical assessment to determine the most appropriate approach for each individual. Factors such as dosage, treatment areas, and desired outcomes vary from person to person.

In Australia, the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has strict advertising guidelines for cosmetic treatments involving prescription-only medicines, such as cosmetic injectables. Under these regulations, clinics are not permitted to use before-and-after photos

Everyone’s facial anatomy, skin condition, and aesthetic goals are different. A consultation allows us to assess your unique features and recommend treatments that are tailored specifically to you

Cosmetic injectables are medical procedures that require a detailed health history to ensure they’re appropriate and safe. This includes checking for allergies, medications, and any underlying conditions

We take time to explain your options, expected outcomes, and any potential risks or side effects. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and make fully informed decisions about your care.

In Australia, it is a legal requirement that clients undergo a consultation with a qualified healthcare professional before receiving prescription-only cosmetic treatments.

· Please avoid alcohol, aspirin and ibuprofen for 48 hours prior to your treatment.

· Arrive with clean, make-up free skin if possible.

· If you are feeling unwell you will need to reschedule your appointment for the sake of others as well as your results and potential complications.

· Treatments at Esse Aesthetics are unfortunately not suitable for those pregnant, breastfeeding, preparing for or undergoing IVF

· Ensure you have not been on antibiotics in the past two weeks

· Ensure you update the Nurse of any changes to your medical condition.

· Come to your appointment alone if possible. Medical consultations can involve personal conversations. To allow open and non-judgemental discussion please refrain from bringing others along.

To reduce the risk of bruising we recommend avoiding the following:

a week before injections:

· Aspirin,

· Fish or krill oils, St. John’s Wort, vitamin E, garlic/ginger/ginko supplements

· Anti-inflammatory medicines (like Nurofen)

· Other facial treatments, retinols or hair removal

Two days before and after injections:

· Strenuous exercise

· Alcohol

· Saunas, excessive sun exposure

Initial consultations will take between 30-45 minutes. Wrinkle reducing treatments will take 30mins and volumising treatments will take about 45 minutets

Bruising and swelling accompany any injectable. Needles enter soft tissue, while we will try our hardest to avoid swelling and bruising, it can be inevitable.

It is best to plan treatments well ahead of important events and important not to travel for two weeks after procedures so you will be available if any corrections are required.

If you are new to injecting it and don’t know how your body will respond, it is wise to plan treatment for a suitable time with these considerations.

To reduce the risk of bruising we recommend avoiding the following:

· Anti-inflammatory medicines (like Nurofen)

· Other facial treatments, retinols or hair removal

Two days before and after injections:

Wrinkle reducing treatments will have their full effect at 2 weeks. Other treatments may show some instant results but will often be accompanied by swelling that will settle in 1-2 weeks. We invite all clients for a 2 week follow up appointment to assess how the product has settled.

Wrinkle reducing treatments are recommended every 3-4 months, other treatments are needed less frequently. The nurse will recommend a plan for you and will assist in booking in your next appointment
